qoutes ( frist year)

What should i do with him - dress him in my apparel and make him my waiting gentle woman? He that hath a beard, is more than a youth : and he that hath no beard is less than a man : and he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man, I am not for him

Beatrice is speaking these words

Beatrice is saying here that basically that she need a young man, she doses not want a boy one that is less than a man, and she does not want and old man he that is more than youth.

to me this quite is telling use a little about Beatrice it shows us how she is not the traditional woman. it also shows how she has set her standards so high that they are virtually unattainable

Benedick was saying these words

Benedick is basically saying that if ever he marries he is a fool and that he is strapped down with a woman. and he is also here mucking the union of marriage

this quote shows us Benedick apprehension to marriage and what at that time he thinks about it. it also shows that he dose not and is not willing to trust his heart to a woman and risk being hurt
